Cows Roam in Supermarket to Make Political Statement

So, a cow walks into a supermarket. It sounds like the beginning to a dumb joke, right? Not really.

Two boys in Britain walked into supermarkets with their cows as part of a farmers’ protest against the low cost of milk they’re calling the milk trolley challenge. They are hoping to raise the price, so they walked them up and down the aisles, much to the surprise of people doing their shopping.

There were about 70 protesters altogether, with one of them telling Sky News, “The reason we are doing this is the milk is far too cheap.” Another protester argued that milk should not be cheaper than bottled water.

It looks like these farmers are happy to milk this publicity for all it is worth. Sorry, we just couldn’t resist.
