Conan O’Brien Reveals Past as a Teenage Drummer

Before he was a gawky talk show host, Conan O'Brien was a gawky teenager. And, just like the rest of us, his teenage years weren't always so suave.

Earlier this week Conan was getting his "45 layers of makeup" removed after the show when his assistant came up to him with interesting news. Somebody in the crowd was friends with one of Conan's old high school mates, and even had a picture of O'Brien as a 15-year old. Conan shared that photo with the world Thursday.

That's quite the drumming face Conan had going on. And those aviator shades were a nice, era-appropriate touch.

Conan didn't comment on whether he was any good at his instrument. But he did rag on the quality of the drum set and suggested he was playing a Katrina and the Waves' song in the photo. So if you add that up, he probably wasn't so good. Certainly nothing like this little guy.
