Convenience Store Clerk Clobbers Thief With Beer Cans

Beer isn't simply an awesome beverage that ensures a good time. Turns out, it also makes a great weapon for driving off would-be robbers. Oh, beer, is there anything you can't do?

On Tuesday, clerk Dilip Patel was working in a convenience store around 7PM in Port Orange, FL, when Steven Larson burst in with a t-shirt covering his face and began raiding the cash register.

Surveillance footage shows Patel leaping to action as he grabs a four-pack of Natural Light and begins pelting the knife-wielding robber with cans until he flees the store, dropping the knife and money in the process.

Police later arrested Larson and charged him with battery and armed robbery. It's safe to say this thief now has a beer hangover, but not the good kind.
