Not only did Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog hit the 2012 Oscars red carpet in style, but they also claimed a bit of the spotlight during the show when they presented Cirque du Soleil's thrilling performance.

After Miss Piggy's relatively short rant about Steven Spielberg, two acrobats swung out of the stage as a movie montage aired in the background. By the silence that fell over the audience, you could tell everyone was captivated by the graceful ode to the movies.

More than 50 performers danced on stage, making it the largest cast ever assembled for a Cirque performance. Sorry, Billy Crystal, but it looks like they stole the show.
