The group behind the YouTube channel Photonicinduction do at-home experiments involving electricity and home appliances that — more often than not — end in some kind of fire or destruction.

With a near-broken washing machine at their disposal, they decided to finish it off with a cinderblock. The machine rumbles violently before falling over for good, never to do laundry again. If it ain’t fixable, break it?
