Chimpanzee Makes a Fire and Roasts Marshmallows — Is This the ‘Rise of the Apes’? [VIDEO]

Kanzi, a bonobo chimp raised in captivity has had what his handler calls a "passion" for fire ever since he watched the movie 'Quest for Fire' as a young ape.

Now 31, Kanzi is able to make a controlled blaze by rounding up twigs and then igniting them with a lighter. A fire-starting chimp -- WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

Actually, in the video below, Kanzi uses his human-like ability to roast and then eat a marshmallow like the most civilized of campers. So there is no need to worry. Yet.
