Celebrity Googly Eyes Is the Hot New Tumblr
In a clever attempt to market its Emergency Googly Eyes, Arthur McPhee created a Tumblr blog in which they gave history's greatest icons a make over. A googly-eyed makeover, that is.
From pop-culture faves like Pee Wee Herman to history's greatest minds like Albert Einstein, giving them big shake-y eyes causes everybody to end up looking the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.
Seeing political figures the likes of Winston Churchill with googly eyes does deface their history, but that's the whole appeal of the blog. It's still fairly new with only two pages of animated gifs so far, but we're sure the internet will fill that void once this goes viral.
