This past weekend J.J. Abrams unleashed the second entry in his rebooted 'Star Trek' franchise, 'Star Trek Into Darkness.' With Kirk, Spock, Uhura and company back in theaters, we've been giddily revisiting all things Enterprise, and we realized there is one thing this reboot demands more of: George Takei. Like swashbuckling Sulu wouldn't have improved things by 100%.

Takei has emerged as a major force in social networking, political activism and general interwebs awesomeness. And we just can't get enough. Just imagine what 'Star Trek Into Darkness' would look like with Takei playing every character. We did. Oh my!

1991's 'L.A. Story' was a labor of love for Steve Martin -- in addition to starring in the whimsical romantic comedy, he also wrote the hilarious script.

Mixing surreal gags with romantic misunderstandings, Martin's sun-dappled update of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' is a gentle satire of its titular city and all the movers and shakers who live within its temperate confines. It was also a vehicle for a lot of fun cameos.

The 1985 black comedy 'Better Off Dead' tells the tale of a high school student (John Cusack) who falls into a deep depression after his girlfriend dumps him.

The film got good reviews, performed decently at the box office and has become a cult classic, thanks to its quirky characters and memorable one-liners ("Two dollars!")

One person who doesn't like the film is Cusack. He reportedly walked out of the first screening and blasted director "Savage" Steve Holland for "making him look foolish." Cusack did seem to soften his stance on 'Better Off' during a recent Reddit AMA, saying he thought the film "could have been better" but that he's "glad people still love it."
