Cat Elevator, Going Up!

As further proof that cats are fundamentally lazy creatures, two felines climb aboard a makeshift chair elevator and are pulled by a rope to an open window. Sound dangerous? Nah. Cats always land on their feet, right?

Instead of taking the stairs like the rest of us, these two cats cling to a rickety chair and are pulled two stories up the side of a house by a smiling woman. Since the video is in a different language, it's difficult to interpret what's being said, but one thing is abundantly clear -- cat hoisting is adorable.

In fact, YouTube is packed with videos of cats ascending in buckets, baskets and customized pet lifts. Who knew? After watching this video, we can't help but wonder what's next. Escalators for dogs, maybe?
