One clever pooch named Gus appears to have found an innovative solution to beat the sweltering summer heat.

In this YouTube clip, the bulldog drags a half-filled kiddie pool inside the house while his owner laments, "Jeez, Gus. We can't have anything nice, can we?"

Despite the owner's repeated commands to leave the pool outside, Gus drags it across the lawn toward an open patio door. Then, he struggles mightily to get it inside while spilling water everywhere. Through sheer force of will, and a set of strong jaws, he eventually succeeds.
