Brian McFayden — MTV VJs Then and Now

Brian MacFayden, MTV VJ

Then: Clean-cut pretty boy McFayden found his way into the MTV family by producing the radio show of VH1 VJ Cane Peterson on New York’s K-Rock. His on-air nickname there was Altar Boy. He worked for MTV from 1999-2002 as host on ‘Total Request Live,’ ‘The Real World’ reunion and as a correspondent on ‘MTV News.’

Now: McFayden continues to work as a television personality, having hosted the reality TV show ‘Beauty and the Geek,’ and the MSN series ‘7 Wonders of the Wall.’ But most recently he signed on to host ‘Campus Insiders,’ a show about NCAA college football and basketball that airs online. Keep up with McFayden on Twitter.
