Barack Obama ‘Slow Jams the News’ With Jimmy Fallon
Bill Clinton is no longer the only US president to have made sweet late-night music. But instead of playing the saxophone, like 'Bubba' did on 'The Arsenio Hall Show,' Barack Obama used his smooth pipes to "Slow Jam The News" during his appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
It would be a stretch to say the commander-in-chief (or as Fallon calls him 'The Preezy of the United Steezy') was actually singing, but he was clearly participating in a song. Check out the performance below.
So how did The Preezy, er, we mean Obama do? Was his slow jam as strong as Brian Williams'?
But it wasn't all fun and games. Obama used the slow jam to argue that the interest rates on Stafford student loans shouldn't go up on July 1st, as they are scheduled to. Interestingly, this is one issue that he and his 2012 GOP opponent Mitt Romney agree on.
Fallon had Obama on for the full hour, and they discussed a variety of topics including presidential pratfalls and the Secret Service prostitution scandal (Obama called the implicated agents "knuckleheads"). Check out the entire interview below.
