This triple play, turned by minor league team the Nashville Sounds, is about the strangest instant inning-ender we've ever seen.

Sounds center fielder Logan Schafer misjudged a line drive off the bat of the Omaha Storm Chasers' Clint Robinson and when Schafer thrust his glove over his head to make the out, he ended up deflecting the ball off the top of his noggin instead. After bouncing off his head, the ball neatly fell into his hand and the Sounds turned in two more outs.

Schafer looked like he was in a daze as he headed for the dugout -- was it amazement over the play ... or was he seeing stars after taking a ball to the head?
