A handicapped baby elephant has been given a new lease on life thanks to an incredible prosthetic leg, 'Today' reports. Hope you have your hankies ready for this one.

The young bull elephant, whose name is Chhouk, was found near-death in the Cambodian jungle in 2007 after an animal trap mangled one of his legs.

Thankfully, the animal was brought to a nearby rescue center and slowly nursed back to health. Then, local prosthetic experts fashioned an elephant-sized fake leg for the plucky pachyderm.

Was he able to walk? Find out in the heartwarming rescue story below.
