‘Sesame Street’ Puppets Rap Along to the Beastie Boys [VIDEO]
'Sesame Street' is known for its musical numbers but generally the lyrics lean a little more optimistic ("Sunny day / Sweeping the clouds away") than the rhymes in the Beastie Boys single 'Sure Shot' ("I've got the brand new doo-doo / guaranteed like Yoo-Hoo").
Still, there's something about this Sesame/Beastie rap mashup that just seems so right. It's nostalgic, flute heavy and hey, there's even some counting! That's got to be worth something, right?

World’s Largest Photograph on Display in California
Displaying the world's largest photograph presents a number of unique challenges for a museum, chief among them being where to put a photo that's three stories tall and 11 stories wide. Created by a collective of six artists known as The Legacy Project and currently on display at California's UCR Sweeney Art Gallery, 'The Great Picture' is not only the largest photograph ever printed, but it was also taken by the largest camera ever created.

Twitter Founder Biz Stone’s Awkward First Encounter With Mark Zuckerberg
Last weekend on NPR's comedic quiz show 'Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!' Twitter co-founder Biz Stone was invited on to play a game called 'I Can Hardly Clear My Throat in 140 Characters.' Before his win (the prize was getting co-host Carl Kasell's distinguished voice on a lucky listener's home answering machine), Stone recounted an awkward but hilarious encounter he had with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg when they met to discuss the potential sale of Stone's then-fledgling microblogging service:

Angry Birds Movie Confirmed for 2014
Development on an Angry Birds movie has officially begun, but you'll have to wait until at least 2014 to see your favorite kamikaze birds on the big screen.
Rovio, the Finnish company that created the smash hit video game, has hired former Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel as a special adviser and executive producer for the upcoming film. The hire is the latest in a series of steps geared towards expanding the franchise into feature films. Just last month, Rovio acquired Finnish animation studio Kombo to begin work on short-form animated content based on the characters from the game.

Mysterious Post-It Ghost Haunts Blogger
Post-It notes are a pretty unassuming form of communication. Sure, they can serve as persuasive reminders to fax that memo or pick up some milk, but as eerie messages from the undead? You'd probably expect ghosts to get in touch through other means, like blood on the walls or ear-splitting shrieks. I Thought I Told You to Wait in the Car blogger Richard Vivmeister Hirst (a self-described "human man" from Preston, England) was haunted by a Post-It-leaving spirit who sent him spooky and annoying messages like a passive-agressive roommate from the beyond.

A Hot Dog Rock Opera for the Fourth of July [VIDEO]
Hot dogs can be pretty divisive but for those who love them, their passion for wieners often knows no bounds. Take the competitors at Nathan's Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest or jazz guitarist turned "totally warped rock artist" Matt Chertkoff. His unbridled love for the mysterious cased meat led him to compose the world's first rock opera totally devoted to hot dogs. The album, which is being released under the name McSAPRR, features 100% all-beef gems like 'The Hot Dog Highway,' 'Hot Dog Money,' and the ever controversial 'Meat Pimp.' Does that sound delicious or what?

Is Lexi St. George the Next Rebecca Black? [VIDEO]
This week, ABC's 'Good Morning America' launched One Week to Hit It Big, a competition aimed at giving one lucky teen the chance to turn into a pop star overnight. Inspired by the success of Rebecca Black's runaway hit 'Friday,' the winner, 14-year-old LA native Lexi St. George, was handpicked and by Patrice Wilson, CEO of Black's former label Ark Music Factory.
St. George's new single, which has yet to inspire either the popularity or vitriol of 'Friday,' premiered earlier this week on 'GMA.' Unlike 'Friday,' which Wilson said was meant "to have people say 'I hate this song, but I'm still singing it,'" St. George's 'Dancing to the Rhythm (With Me)' is "supposed to be good." POP Phone Turns Your Cell Into an Old-Fashioned Handset
There was once a time when talking on the phone was a quiet affair, usually in the privacy of one's own home or an enclosed glass booth. Other people's phone calls have since become an annoyance, due to the ubiquity of the cells and the fact that Bluetooth headsets make it nearly impossible to tell who's crazy and who's talking to a client. A return to classical form might not be an altogether bad thing.
Created by French designer David Turpin for Native Union, the POP Phone is a bulky, vintage-inspired headset for your mobile device, laptop or computer (Lenny Kravitz is a fan). Available in six colors for the fairly reasonable price of $29.90, you can pick up your little piece of updated antiquity today. Check out a video review below:
