Whoa, Nostradamus would have loved this video. In anticipation (or even celebration?) of the perpetually impending end of the world, YouTube user Zach Prewitt has harvested choice moments from some of our best and biggest apocalyptic films. Get ready for some bombs, tears, fears and a whole lot of terrifying possibilities.

We're not positive whether Zach really believes we're living in the end times, is a huge editing geek, or is just a guy with a lot of time on his hands... why can't it be all three?  We're not judging.

Regardless, he's cobbled together nearly eight minutes of entertainingly disturbing video that shows how humans react (according to movies, anyway) when global disasters strike. Can we all agree that we'd prefer that none of these scenarios played out in real life? Especially to a haunting rock backup track.

Some of the films excerpted include 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day,' 'War of the Worlds,' 'I Am Legend,' and 'Independence Day.' Thanks, Hollywood... we're officially freaked out, although we're also feeling a little better about not having invested in that 401K.
