Anderson Cooper slammed Chris Brown for his role in an upcoming romantic comedy on 'Anderson Cooper 360,' citing Brown's domestic abuse case with former girlfriend Rihanna and a string of other wrongdoings in the singer's past.

The movie is based on Steve Harvey's book about relationships, 'Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.' And, given Rihanna's beating at the hands of Brown, Cooper couldn't think of anyone better suited for a rom-com, he noted sarcastically.

“I, for one, cannot imagine why this did not happen sooner because if there’s one thing you can say about Chris Brown, who’s currently on probation for viciously assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, he just oozes romance,” joked Cooper.

Cooper also cited other bad behavior by the musician, including a tantrum at the 'Good Morning America' studios, an incident where he called a group of photographers "gay" and a Twitter war in which he dropped homophobic slurs and showed insensitivity towards molestation.

Brown appeared unfazed by Cooper's rant. "I guess people need ratings!!!" the singer tweeted. "Lol!!! It's cool. Much love!"
