Album Cover Stars Then and Now – Violent Femmes, ‘Violent Femmes’

Then: Billie Jo Campbell was three-years-old when a photographer approached her and her mother on the streets of LA asking her to participate in an album photoshoot.

Campbell says her mom was "a free spirit, and thought it was great" and so they went to the shoot and the rest is music history.

Campbell isn't posing, though. "I remember looking into that building, and they kept telling me there were animals in there," she explains. "I had no idea there were photographers there. I was... pissed off that I couldn't see the animals and I was all cranky by the end of it."
