Adele’s Grammy Performance of ‘Rolling in the Deep’ Blows Rihanna Away

After five months of recovering from damaged vocal cords, including a recent surgery, Adele returned to the stage for a live performance of 'Rolling in the Deep' at this year's Grammy Awards show. It was so moving (and so overdue) that on top of a standing ovation, the camera's zoomed to show Rihanna clutching her face in awe.

Adele, who's been in the news more prominently lately due to statements made by Karl Lagerfeld, stood strong in front of an audience of thousands with just her voice and a small troupe of gospel singers.

But as excited as she must have been to get back to the stage, her fans were even more hyped. Upon finishing, Adele mouthed a "Thank you" to the audience for their emotional response to the music.
