‘Act of Valor’ Super Bowl 2012 Trailer is (Literally) Explosive
A trailer for 'Act of Valor,' an upcoming movie which stars active-duty Navy SEALs as part of its cast, ran during the Super Bowl last night. And if the (literally) explosive promo is any indication, the action flick should get our blood pumping.
Although it's only 30 seconds long, the clip features an aerial assault, an amphibious incursion, a gunship battle, multiple explosions and more bullets than you could possibly count.
Set to be released on Feb. 24th, the film is a dramatized account of a Navy SEAL squad on a mission to rescue a kidnapped CIA officer.
If you suddenly feel the urge to join up after watching, that's because the film originally began as a recruitment video back in 2007. But the Navy liked the footage so much that they agreed to a full-fledged movie feature with its creators.
