33% of Women Wouldn’t Date an Unemployed Man

If you've been looking for a job, here's more incentive. Website It's Just Lunch conducted a survey and found that a third of women wouldn't go out with an unemployed man.

There is hope, however, for the romantically forlorn and jobless. 42% would consider it if the man in question had a plan to get a job in the first place.

Also, 4% said, unreservedly, yes, they would date a man without a job.

But why would unemployed men be considered lesser dates? The women who said no were concerned that they would have to pay for all the dates, or that the man's lack of funding would mean limited dates.

You know, the conclusion we're actually taking away from this is less than unemployed men don't interest women so much is that about a third of people are too shallow to pay for their own date.
